Toan: Would you please tell us something about you and your site?
Kristoffer: My name is Kristoffer Trujillo and I blog about marketing at
cashtactics.net.  We talk about anything from PPC (the latest craze) to SEO and list building.  I even started a media buy case study at one point.  There is a members forum where anyone can go to ask the questions of life!

Toan: What got you getting started to build your blog?
Kristoffer: The blog was actually started by Ralph Ruckman the owner of
Convert2media.com.  I meet up with him a few times and played xbox360
with him frequently.  When he moved over to start convert2media he handed the blog over to me.

Toan: Where you got idea blogging?
Kristoffer: You have to blog about the things you love. The nice thing is that Ruck had the foundation build so choosing a topic wasn’t hard.  I just
had to continue that.  It’s a good thing I love marketing online other wise I would be lost!

Toan: How to become a professional blogger?

Kristoffer: The key is to become a participant in your niche.  Don’t just sit idolly blogging but reach out to the community (other forums and blogs). When you can participate in the community you can easily bring people over to your blog.

Toan: How long does it take to become a professional blogger?

Kristoffer: That’s a good question… I was thrown into the role of professional blogger.  If you work hard to get the traffic then I think you can
start making money in as little as 5 months. It’s a matter of how quickly you can get that traffic into your site and then how well you can keep them coming back for more.

Toan: Which blogs would you recommend for any beginners starting to blog?

Kristoffer: Mine of course… Cashtactics.net.  There are lots of good blogs out there.  My suggestion is to set a limit on your blog/forum reading. When you do that you can focus more on the work that needs to get done.

Toan: Which ebooks would you recommend for beginners starting to blog?
Kristoffer: Sorry…  I don’t recommend ebooks.  Anything can be found in blogs and forums.  Its just a matter of weeding through the crap.

Toan: What are your methods of marketing for your blog?

Kristoffer: You just have to be a community member.  Be apart of your niche and people will come.  Its that easy.  I have bought 1 advertisment in my life for the blog.  And that is because its a website I want my link on. If you just participate with people in the niche and they look at you as an authority or just someone with good knowledge then people will come its really that easy.

Toan: What did you do when don’t have the idea to blogging?
Kristoffer: I was an SEO consultant.  Infact I did SEO for about 8 months after I had the blog as well.

Toan: Did you spend time and money to SEO and advertising your blog?
Kristoffer: Nope.  I’ve already answered this above.

Toan: What’s the best way to make money online from blog?

Kristoffer: John Chow made a good post about this.  Passive income and Active income.  Passive income is like referral commissions that are continuous even if the blog were to disappear.  And active income is when you sell something to the readers. Active income is a one time shot.

Toan: Recommended programs to earn money from your blogs ?
Kristoffer: You can always put advertisements in there.  Those always sell great if you have the visitors to the site.

Toan: How much money did you got in first month blogging ? ( Great ^_^ )
Kristoffer: HAHA Too much to believe.  :) Remember… I was handed an established blog so the income was already there for me.

Toan: Who do you think are the most professional blogger on the internet?
Kristoffer: Everyone that posts regularly is a professional blogger in my book. That’s the key to success.  Set a minimum post amount per week and you are good to go.

Toan: Which blogs do you regularly read?
Kristoffer: I actually just visit affbuzz.com to see what everyone is blogging about.  From there I read the post titles and just pick the ones to
read that I find the most interesting.

Toan: What are your advice for beginners who starting to blog?
Kristoffer: Just do it.  Start writing and being apart of the community

Thanks Kristoffer!
