Interview With Daniel Scocco ( Dailyblogtips )

Surely you are  familiared with Daniel Scocco too, he was very successful and famous  Dailyblogtips and OnlineProfits.  About one week ago, I had contact with him for an interview  about his story  make money online. ClickKT: Would you please tell us something about you and your site?

Daniel: I got my degree in 2005 (International Economics), and straight out of university I started working for a company in the telecom sector. In that same year I started building my first websites and blogs, mostly as a hobby.

Over 2006, however, the blogs started growing quite fast, and I saw a lot of potential in them. Late that year I therefore decided to quit my job and to start working full time on the Internet.

Today I have several websites and blogs. The one where I blog actively on is DailyBlogTips.com.

ClickKT: What got you getting started to build your blog?

Daniel: When I got my degree, I was left with this huge document that I had written for my thesis, on the Innovation Management topic. I had put a lot of effort into it, but probably only 3 people would ever read it: me, my dad, and my teacher….

Instead of letting it sit around gathering dust, therefore, I decided to create a blog, chop off the document, and publish it online.

That is how it started.

ClickKT: Where to get idea blogging about make money online ?

Daniel: I don’t blog specifically about making money online. My interests are basically everything related to business and the Internet.

ClickKT: Did you used Adword for your blog?

Daniel: I use AdWords for my online projects. I don’t spend that much money to promote my blog though.

ClickKT: Recommended programs to earn money from your blogs ?

Daniel: Different blogs will earn better with different monetization methods, so you only answer is: test, track and optimize.

Test with AdSense, direct sponsors, affiliate programs and so on.

ClickKT: How much money did you got in first month blogging ?

Daniel: Zero. As I mentioned I started as a hobby, and making money was not my goal. I only added ads to my sites after they were 6 month old or so.

ClickKT: And How much money do you getting ?

Daniel: I don’t like to talk about exact numbers. Just consider that I make enough to live comfortably.

ClickKT: What are your favorite blogs?

Daniel: It would take too  much time to list them. I am subscribed to hundreds via RSS feed.
